Histories showed the works of Sámi artists from roughly 1970 up to today, and included more than 60 works by a total of 13 artists. The title Histories carries a double meaning: the exhibition presents the stories of three generations of Sámi artists, while at the same time many of the works highlight the theme of Sámi history, society and identity.
